He has published eight books on Mass Media. Dr. Khattri is a Google Certified Trainer by Google News Initiative India Training Network 2018. Dr. Khattri has been an active member of five International Media organizations like IAMCR, NAMLE AYJW, PRSI and ACMS. Dr. Neeraj Khattri has been awarded with the Best Academic Administrator Award 2019 by the Combined Society for Education, Research and Development on February 01, 2019 at Mumbai and received Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Samman-2023 for Outstanding Contribution in the field of Higher Education by Delhi State Legal Services Authority and Bhagidari Jansahyog Samiti, New Delhi on May 07, 2023.

He is a Chartered Insurer and also Goodwill Ambassador of Chartered Insurance Institute in India. He is also Vice President, Risk Managment Assoication of India. Before joining IMS Unison University Prof. Chattoraj was Chairperson Insurance Business Management Program and Dean SW&SS at BIMTECH Greater Noida. He also headed AMITY Business School, AMITY University, Mumbai. He was also Chairperson PGDM and Student Welfare at NIA Pune. He has industry experience of 25 years with a reputed public sector insurance company.
