Inter Faculty Seminar - School Of Law

In the series of Internal Faculty Seminar held on 28^th Nov 2022, a seminar was organized by School of Law on the topic “Climate Justice: Need of the Hour”. This Seminar enabled the faculty to understand the varying concept of Justice in the context of environment and associated human rights of the different groups. In the Seminar, the topic was presented by Mr. Ashutosh Kumar, Assistant Professor, School of Law. He explained the concept of sharing the burden and benefits & resolution of issues in a just and fair manner.  He focused upon the impact of climate change and varying concept of justice for inter-generation and within the generation. Also, he effectually correlated the things in the Indian scenario and try to assimilate it with various doctrine related to environmental law propounded by the Supreme Court of India from time to time. Finally, he summed up his presentation emphasizing upon the implementation of protective measures discussed and documented.
