Interactive Session with Chancellor, IMS Unison University

On 22^nd March 2022, School of law, IMS Unison University organized an interactive session with the Hon’ble Chancellor, Professor Gurdip Singh Bahri, for the students of all schools of IMS Unison University. Prof. Bahri addressed the students on the burning issue on conflict between Ukraine and Russian Federation and the role of international organisations like United Nations, International Court of Justice, International Criminal Court, Council of Europe, etc. He raised the issue of involvement of politics in the enforcement of international law in the current situation. Provisions of United Nations Charter, ICJ Statute, Genocide Convention, International Humanitarian Law were raised in the discussion. Towards the end Hon’ble speaker invited questions from the audience and satisfactorily answered them.
