Internal Faculty Seminar - School Of Law

Internal Faculty Seminar was conducted in School of Law on 30.07.2022 on the topic “In the era of privatization the definition of State need to be extended. The Seminar was presented by Dr. Nitya Nand Pandey, Assistant Professor, School of Law. He has vast teaching experience of 10 years and 3 years of industrial experience.

He has enlightened on the definition of State as defined in Article 12 of Indian constitution and correlated with disinvestment policy of government. He has also cited various verdicts of the court to support his view. Ramana Dayaram Shetty vs Indian airport authority of India judgement of Supreme Court was citied by him where the court has given new dimension of article 12.

Apart from this judgement all other judgement of various high Court and Supreme Court was also quoted by him to prove his own thought on the issue. Several questions were put up by the other faculty members which Dr. Pandey satisfied patiently.

Lastly, the seminar was concluded by the concluding remarks of Dean School of Law Dr. Ashish Verma.
