Knowledge Sharing Session organized by School of Law

A knowledge sharing session was organized by School of Law, IMS Unison University in collaboration with ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited under their Investor Education initiative. The theme of the session was ' Invest Correctly’ It was conducted to educate employees of IMS Unison, both academic and administrative, on types of investments and mutual funds and to enable them to make informed investment decisions.  The event was organized and executed under the able convenorship of Prof. R.N. Sharma, Dean, School of Law and faculty convener of the same was Mr. Hardik Daga, Assistant Professor, School of Law, IMS Unison University. A brief introductory address was given by Prof. (Dr.) Shantanu Roy, Dean SoM, IMS University on theme. We were fortunate to have with us, Mr. Vikas Sharma, Channel Partner & Financial Expert and Gaurav Mishra, Cluster Manager, ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited as our keynote speakers, who graced the occasion with her insightful views on this nascent topic. The key points covered in the program were: Different avenues of saving and investment, goal-based planning, asset allocation, retirement planning, wealth creation through SIP and power of compounding.  A healthy participation was observed and turned out to be an enriching experience as it provided participants with a much-needed guidance for investing. Refreshments were distributed after the conclusion of the said session.
