The School of Management at IMS Unison University hosted the inauguration of a two-day National Business Plan Competition-2021 on October 29, 2021. The competition persists on three pillars, i.e., competence, collaboration, and connection for the confluence of ideas that will cultivate out-of-the-box thinking among students. The university has been remarkable in creating unparalleled opportunities for the students to acclimatize them with the fulfilling pedagogy of learning-by-doing. Moreover, it has been steadfast to nurture talents in and educationally empower young minds for their scintillating future in the gargantuan domain of business administration. The introductory remark was given by Prof. (Dr.) Gurdeep Singh, Chancellor (IUU) through his blissful words of wisdom. He threw light on the conception and creation of Business Plan keeping in mind the international Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). A brief of the event along with a few words of encouragement were shared by Prof. (Dr.) Santanu Roy, Dean (School of Management) wherein he shared his valuable insights about the necessity of developing entrepreneurial instincts especially concerning small and medium enterprises for our nation’s economic prosperity. The event was organized by Prof. Sneha Badola and Dr. Vivek K. Pathak. The plans were judged by industry experts and seasoned entrepreneurs, namely Mr. Attar Tomar, Manager, Finance System Operations, HSBC and Mr. Abu Bashar, Business Development Manager, Micro Center Group, Kingdom of Bahrain. Twenty teams are geared up to participate in this two-day event. Day- 1 has seen a successful completion of the presentation of 10 business plans, while other 10 teams are eagerly awaiting for their opportunity to present their business plans on Day- 2 of the event.
