NATIONAL BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION – 2021 (Day 2)

The two-day National Business Plan Competition had a total of 19 entrancing presentations through virtual mode by the participants who shared their insightful thoughts on opening and operationalization of their respective businesses spanning to various sectors like Online Healthcare Consultancy, Pet care, Real Estate, Textile and more. Students zestfully contributed through the conceptualization of their ideas. The judges were overwhelmed with the exquisite performances shown by the participants. Dr. Kalyani Rangarajan, Dean-School of Management declared the top-three exemplary performers which were as follows:

1.     The first position was earned by Team-B comprising of Aishwarya Bisht and Akanksha Parihar, IMS Unison University, for their plan titled ‘SATAT (Sustainable Aesthetic Textile)’ with a cash prize of ` 10,000/-

2.     The second position was secured by Team-S comprising of Saranya N, Sanka Naga Charan Nived and Santhosh Kumar R of Vellore Institute of Technology Business School, Chennai for their plan titled ‘Puzzlefit.com’ with a cash prize of ` 7,000/-

3.     The third position was obtained by Team-H comprising of Himanshu Rawat and Pawan Singh Waldia of IMS Unison University for their plan titled ‘Devbhoomi Tours & Travels’ with a cash prize of ` 5,000/-

4.     Additionally, Team-O comprising of Sanchit Upadhyay and Rhythm Agarwal of IMS Unison University, Dehradun were considered for ‘Special Jury Award’ by the judges for their plan.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Sneha Badola and Dr. Vivek K. Pathak.
