The School of Management at IMS Unison University hosted the inauguration of a two-day National Business Plan Competition-2021 on February 25, 2021. The competition persists on three pillars, i.e., competence, collaboration and connection for the confluence of ideas that will cultivate out-of-the-box thinking among students. The university has been remarkable in creating unparalleled opportunities for the students to acclimatize them with the fulfilling pedagogy of learning-by-doing. Moreover, it has been steadfast to nurture talents in and educationally empower young minds for their scintillating future in the gargantuan domain of business administration.The introductory remark was given by Prof. (Dr.) Gautam Sinha, Vice-Chancellor (IUU) through his blissful words of inspiration. He threw light on the evolution of the term entrepreneur which has a French base. A welcome address was given by Prof. (Dr.) Ravikesh Srivastava, Pro Vice-Chancellor (IUU). Further, he emphasized the changing landscapes of the multi-faceted businesses in the dynamic environment due to the advancement of technology. A few words of encouragement were shared by Prof. (Dr.) Kalyani Rangarajan, Dean (School of Management) wherein she shared her valuable inputs about the necessity of developing entrepreneurial instincts especially concerning small and medium enterprises for our nation’s economic prosperity. The event was organised by Prof. Sneha Badola and Dr. Vivek K. Pathak. The plans were judged by industry experts and seasoned entrepreneurs, namely Dr. T. Rangarajan, Prof. Nishant Dublish and Mr. Abu Bashar. Twenty teams are geared up to participate in this two-day event.
