Spic Macay

Sanskriti Club of IMS Unison University has organized in collaboration with Spic Macay(a non-profit voluntary organisation) a Bharat Natyam performance on 18^th April 2023. Spic Macay is working towards promotion of Indian classical music and culture amongst youth in educational institutions throughout India. In this event Central Sangeet Natak Akademi Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar Awardee - Lakshmi Parthasarathy Athreya has narrated three different series of stories of River Ganga, Lord Krishna and Lord Hanuman through her performance. Smt. Vidya Ravindran Anand on Nattuvangam, Sri. M. Dhanamjayan on Mridangam, Smt. Ila Sangeeta Dileep, on vocal and violin accompanied her in performance. Her performance has mesmerising effect on the students, and they enjoyed her performance with full of zeal and enthusiasm. The event came to an end with few questions of the students which were answered by the team of Lakshmi Parthasarathy Athreya with full satisfaction of the students.
