Workshop On Intellectual Property Rights
The School of law, IMS Unison University, Dehradun organized an informative workshop on Intellectual Property Rights on 15th of December, 2022. The guest speaker for the session was Mr. Hemant Khosla, Deputy Registrar, IPR Registry, Delhi. The event was graced by Hon'ble Chancellor Prof. Gurdip Singh and the dean school of law, Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Verma.
The workshop began with the lighting of lamp and Saraswati Vandana to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the epitome of knowledge and wisdom. Soon after this Dean School of law addressed the gathering and welcomed all the guests , faculties and students and motivated all to be cognizant citizens of the country. Our Chancellor enriched the gathering with his knowledge and experience, he inspired the students to have an international perspective of intellectual property rights law and have a critical view for domestic law.
Moreover, Dr. Shoaib Mohammad, Assistant Professor, School of Law, IMS Unison University and Convener of the Workshop enlightened the gathering with various nuances of Copyright law. He elucidated the concept of copyright law by citing recent and interesting case laws .
Thereafter, Guest lecturer for the Workshop, Mr. Hemant Khosla, captured all the attention of the gathering by his informative and interesting lecture. He not only explained various types of intellectual property rights laws but also reflected on the practical significance of the subject . He through his artistic power point presentation and attractive communication skills invoked the interest of the students in the subject. The session was interactive and offered food for thought.
Last but not the least, the event came to its conclusion with the vote of thanks extended by Dr. Satish Kumar Mishra , Faculty Co Convener of the Workshop, he extended his thanks to one and all including Pooja and Bhoomija pandey, the students Convener and Co Convener of the event respectively.
In all the event was highly intellectually rejuvenating .
